Kittens and Christmas

Bagel loves Christmas!  He's a well behaved cat and mature enough to stay out of the Christmas tree. Our new kitten, Nebi, on the other hand, just can not control her urge to climb our Christmas tree. And so this year we are not decorating with ornaments but rather with ribbons. This seemed like the only solution (other than putting a large fence around our tree!). We tried the squirt bottle method... which didn't work. We tried keeping Nebi in the other room, but we missed having her around the whole family.  So today for today, she the climbs the tree!  And we look forward to next Christmas with a tree full of decorations!
